THE CHALLENGE

A leading EMS producer was installing a number of transistors and had to comply with several thermal and electrical specifications. This needed to be done while maintaining a relatively high production speed. On top of that it was a large production volume with high demands for supply sequrity.

THE SOLUTION:

Newtronic carried out a simulation test of the application to determine the heat distribution in the unit. Based on that we designed an extruded heat sink equipped with a thermally conductive material and 10 transistors each fastened with an Easy Clip. This solution has ensured a fast production and installation speed.
